According to "Distribution of Pollution Zone in * Provincial Power System" (2008), the West Campus of Yanshan University is located in Grade II Pollution Zone.
The ratio of external insulation leakage of 110 kV outdoor electrical equipment is 2.5 cm/kV (maximum operating voltage of the system), the ratio of external insulation leakage of 35 kV and 10 kV outdoor electrical equipment is 3.1 cm/kV (maximum operating voltage of the system), the ratio of external insulation leakage of 35 kV and 10 kV indoor electrical equipment is 2.5 cm/kV (maximum operating voltage of the system), and the creepage ratio of 20 kV outdoor electrical equipment is selected for 10 kV through-wall bushing and post insulators.
